D'Krewe, has been a collaboration, headed by Richard & Madeline Abraham,
producing sections of brilliant carnival costumes in Trinidad Carnival Bands for the last eight years. In 2003 we produced "Play Yourself" in Barbarossa's Carnival Band "Comme Ce Comme Sa" and in 2004, our section was "Phoenicians" in Barbarossa's "Mythtropolis".
In 2005, D'Krewe joined with Roland St. George,
who has been producing King Costumes for 30
years. This amalgamation produced the enhanced
section, Arenales, in Trini Revellers "Conquest of
the Indies", which won the 2005 Large Band of the Year Award.
For 2007, we will be D’Krewe of Royalty in Trini Revellers’ French Revolution. Over the years all our masqueraders have been provided with free drinks on Carnival Tuesday. We continued that tradition in 2005 and also provided food on Carnival Tuesday. In 2006 we are expanding our service level with free drinks on Carnival Monday and Tuesday, Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks on Carnival Tuesday. We are also providing a cool-down bus and massuer on Carnival Tuesday. We provide a new experience in quality, efficiency, service and costuming for Carnival.
